About Our Program

Who We Are

The Rwanda FETP builds and strengthens public health capacity.

A partnership among MoH, RBC, UR, AFENET, CDC, and WHO to support field-based training.

What We Do

We provide tiered training for health professionals in Rwanda.

  • FETP-Frontline: Basic training for district staff.
  • FETP-Intermediate: For regional epidemiologists.
  • FETP-Advanced: Two-year advanced field training.

Our Achievements

Hands-on training, impactful graduates, pandemic response.

  • 76 graduates from Advanced Program.
  • Frontline launched in 2020, Intermediate in 2022.
  • Strategic partnerships and a dedicated workforce.
